It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Raymond Oswald Wiesner, who departed this world at the age of 90 on November 15, 2024, in his home in Plymouth, Michigan. Born on June 10, 1934, in Detroit, Michigan, Raymond’s life was characterized by dedication, service, and love for his family.
Raymond had a distinguished career as a supervisor in the automotive industry, a role in which he showcased his leadership and work ethic. His professional journey not only contributed to the growth of the industry but also inspired those around him to strive for excellence.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Raymond honorably served in the army, a testament to his commitment to his country. His military service was a significant chapter in his life, marking him as a person of integrity and strength.
He is survived by his four devoted children: Dennis (Glenda), Diane (Don) Stafford, Kathy (John) Buchalo, and Susan Wiesner. Their love and admiration for their father reflect the values he instilled in them and the memories they will cherish forever.
Raymond was preceded in death by his father, Oswald Wiesner, his mother, Eugenia Wiesner, and his beloved wife Gloria. Their absence leaves a void in the lives of his family, yet the legacy of love and strength that Raymond created endures.
The funeral services will be held on November 19, 2024, with a burial at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan. The service will begin at 12:30 PM, providing family and friends an opportunity to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived.
Raymond's spirit will remain in the hearts of all who knew him, embodying a life dedicated to family, hard work, and unwavering strength. He will be dearly missed.
