Luis Ramirez born August 6th, 1929 to Guadalupe and Natalia Ramirez in Mission, Texas along with his twin sister plus 5 more sisters and 3 brothers.
Husband to Marta Ramirez, who passed away January 31st, 2007. Father to Luis Jr., Rosita, Gloria, Rick (passed away June 5th, 2009) Frank (passed away June 22nd, 2017, Frances, John, Anthony, and Jaime, including spouses. Grandpa to 21 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also loved by his nephews and nieces, friends and neighbors.
Luis work for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway, (now known today as CSX Transportation) for 40 years and retired on August 5th, 1990.
He was a resident of Plymouth, Michigan since 1951 until he moved to Belleville, Michigan in July 2014 for the remainder of his life.
Family and friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Sunday, January 22nd, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A Scripture Service will be held at 7:00 P.M.
Luis will be in state at 10:00 A.M. until the time of the Catholic Funeral Mass of the Resurrection beginning at 11:00 A.M. to be celebrated at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 409 West Columbia Street, Belleville, Michigan
