Raymond H. Golembiewski

Passed away at the University of Michigan Hospital on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 at the age of 88.Ray served in the United States navy during World War II and worked for Ford Motor for 45 years. In 1948 he married Gertrude M ( nee Strzalkowski ) at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Detroit and together they shared 58 years of married life. Gertrude passed away in 2006. Ray is survived by his two sons, Mark and Paul ( Ann) and grandchildren Christopher, Matthew, Chelsea and Mark Jr. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Tuesday, May 28th from 1 pm until 9 pm. Visitation will continue on Wednesday from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road ( at Beck Road ) Plymouth. Following the Mass he will be laid to rest beside his wife at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights. Contributions are suggested to the Raymond H.
