Passed away at his home with his family beside him on Saturday, March 26, 2011,age 72. He was born in Schnectedy, New York and resided in New York until moving to the Plymouth area in 1985. He began working for Ford Motor Company while in New York and then transfered to the Climate Control plant in Plymouth retiring after 38 years of service. He served with the United States Navy in the 1950's serving on carriers repairing aircraft. His interests included golfing, boating and fishing.
He is survived by his wife Joyce and his two daughters, Susan (Jimmy) Jenkins and Jennifer (Barry) Beljak. Five grandchildren, Jesse, Max and Juliet Jenkins and Simon and Sebastian Beljak and his brother Gordon also survive. He was a dear uncle to Stephen VanVeghten and Lori DellaRocco.
Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday from 1pm - 4pm and 6pm - 9pm. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 10am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am at Our Lady Of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Plymouth. Burial will follow at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville.
