Phyllis B. Carley of Livonia, passed away March 9, 2016, at the age of 98. Born in Detroit to Frederick and Anna Marie Bourquin on June 24, 1917. She was the beloved wife of the late David Carley. Phyllis is survived by her two children Gerry Ann (the late Richard) Muirhead, and Thomas Meyer. She is also survived by her grandchildren, who affectionately referred to her as Megga: Marilyn Nelson, Barbara (Kevin) Ash, Nancy (Frank) Early, Cathleen (Joseph) Huey, Amy (Jeff) Robson. Her great grandchildren: David, Matthew (Christina) , Alicia, Ethan, Megan, Michael, Cheyeann, Brianna, Nolan, Haylie, Gavan, Keira, Devlan, Carley, and Hannah and one great great grandchild, Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her first husband Lester S. Meyer, her second husband David A. Carley, and her sister Ruth Wasama.
Visitation for Phyllis will be held Sunday, March 13, from 1pm until 5pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth, 48170. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
