Peter John Papa

Peter John Papa, age 87 of Canton, passed away on Sunday, February 1st. He is survived by his beloved wife, Margaret and their 10 children – Marise (Dennis) Hussey, Katherine (Robert) Cullen, Mary Margaret (Henry) Bahrou, Peter (Sally) Papa, George (Maureen) Papa, Therese (Leo) Mulholland, Christopher (Sue) Papa, Jeanine (Jeff) McDuff, Matthew (Life Partner-Andrew Blatter) Papa and, Leslie (John) Miles. Peter was also the proud Grandfather of 26 grandchildren and the Great-Grandfather of 26. He was the loving brother of Katherine (Sam-deceased) Kelly and Dorothy (James) McGrath. He was pre-deceased by his siblings, Nicholas (Madeline) Papa, Michael (Dolly) Papa, Steven Papa, Thomas (Katherine) Papa, Mary (Roger) Gould, George (Helen) Papa and Ann (Julius) Brecht and, one grandson, Tony McDuff. Friends may visit on Thursday 2pm until 9pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. The Rosary will be at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 10:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, Plymouth. Peter will be in-state at Church at 10am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30am.
