Paul V. Palmer

Paul V. Palmer, passed away October 14, 2021 at his home with his loving family at his side. He married his high school sweetheart Marie on June 24, 1978. Together they were blessed with two sons; Steven Palmer and Michael (Melissa) Palmer and two grandchildren Michael & Elaina Palmer. Dear brother of Charles (Lynn) Palmer, Judy Allen,Marie Short, Ross Greenbird, Joan Greenbird, Ray (Marriet) Dodge, Vera Williams, Curtis Issac, Starlett Carnahan and Paul (Cindy) Williams. Preceded in death by sister Darleen Greenbird. He had several nieces and nephews- especially Rainah, Crystal, Autumn and Naomi Palmer. Several great nieces also survive. Preceded in death by his birth mother Margaret Dodge and adopted parents Frank & Mary Lou Palmer.

He worked for Palmer Paving CO. the family business alongside his brother Chuck. He was past president of the Asphalt Pavers Association. An Eagle Scout – Scout leader of Pack 236 in South Lyon. Graduated from Eastern Michigan University.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 18th from 3:00pm-9:00pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home 280 South Main St, Plymouth. A funeral service will be Tuesday, October 19th at 11:00am at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Lapham Cemetery, Salem Twp.
