Paul Angelo DeGiusti, age 55, of Arlington Virginia, formerly of Michigan passed away on March 6th, 2021.
Paul was born in Dearborn, Michigan on August 7th, 1965 to his loving parents, Giovanni and Teresa DeGiusti.
He is survived by his parents Giovanni and Teresa, his brother, Anthony (Christine) DeGiusti, nieces and nephews, Lea DeGiusti, Anthony Miotto and Nicholas DeGiusti. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins and all those who were graced by Paul's presence.
Paul was a graduate of the Culver Military Academy and later entered the U.S. Army Reserves where he honorably served rising to the rank of Sergeant. Paul continued his education graduating from his beloved alma mater the University of Michigan and ultimately earning his Master’s Degree from George Mason University. Paul was a true life long learner reading literally thousands of books over the course of his life. Professionally Paul worked in both the public and private sectors. He first went to Washington DC as a Congressional Aide. His career continued to advance where he eventually served as Vice President of several organization.
At his core Paul loved his Italian heritage. He made many trips to the homeland where he became fluent in the language and immersed himself in the culture.
Paul was highly intelligent, earning his masters degree, a lover of knowledge and collector of books. He held citizenship in both the United States and Italy.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday, March 19th from 4:00pm-8:00pm with a Rosary Service at 8:00pm.

Please be advised that in observance of the Governmental Order from the State of Michigan and the current COVID-19 situation, when in attendance at the visitation and funeral service, we kindly ask for the safety and well-being of the families we serve, and for your health, that everyone practice social distancing and consideration for other guests in attendance. Masks are mandatory. Please refrain from handshaking and embracing family members and one another.
A Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, March 20th at 11:00am at St. Anne's Church, 38100 Five Mile Road, Livonia.
May the Angels lead you to paradise; may the martyrs greet you on your way. May choirs of Angels receive you and may God grant you eternal rest.
