Patsy L. Smith

Patsy L. Smith passed away October 2, 2013 at the age of 71. Patsy was born February 6, 1942 in Bainbridge, Ohio to Walter and Vauna(Jessee)Kniceley. She is the beloved wife of Harry, her husband of 53 years, and the dear mother of Terry Smith, Laura(Jamie)Wilson, Richard(June)Smith, Lisa(Eddron)Banks and the late Ronnie Smith. Loving grandmother of Jessica(Kris), Natasha, Chris, Kristy, David, Hillary(Nat), Ian, the late Zoe, Gavin, Allen, Demonza, Jaylynn and Donavon and great grandmother of Brianna, Rayne, Kali, Chase, Chandler, Christopher, Joseph, Jacob and Lamdon. Sister of the late Norma(the late Jerry)Preston, Stevie(Marilyn)Kniceley, the late Vauna Daru, and Larry(Paulette)Kniceley. Patsy was a retired secretary for Family Heating and Cooling, Garden City, as well as a full time homemaker. She was a resident of Garden City for 48 years. Patsy loved to play bingo, cards and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed an occasional trip to the casino. Patsy loved watching the Detroit Tigers. Along with some girlfriends, she sent a congratulatory telegram to the 1968 Tigers after the World Series. Most of all she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Friends may visit at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, Friday from 4pm until 9pm and on Saturday from 12noon until time of Funeral Service at 5pm.
