Patrick Michael Creedon

Patrick (Pete) Michael Creedon, 75, of Van Buren Township passed away peacefully on June 2, 2022 with family by his side.

Patrick was born in Detroit on June 4, 1946, to Dayton and Marie (nee Gehringer) Creedon. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 42 years, Cheryl Ann (nee Ciuta) Creedon; beloved father of 3 children- Patrick Creedon Jr., Ryan (Angela Arnold) Creedon, Cristina (Christopher Primeau); proud and loving grandpa of Brayden, Keegan, Benjamin, Ella, Rylee, Rayna, Josie and Jaxson. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his siblings, Kenny Creedon, Maggie Przekop, Rosie (Roger) Williamson, Kae Baker and Theresa Creedon. Pre-deceased by his siblings, Marie and Wally Welch, Bill Creedon, Thomas and Sandy Creedon, Robert Creedon, Joseph Creedon, Charlie Creedon and his late brother-in-laws, Ric Baker, Frank Przekop, and Larry Ciuta. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Jeanne Creedon, Marge Creedon, Sandra (Robert) Gairdner and many loving nieces and nephews.

Pete was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. Born and raised in Livonia Michigan, number six of twelve siblings, he valued every moment spent with family and was always willing to lend a hand. Riding his motorcycle always brought great joy to his life. Whether it was a day trip, heading up north for the weekend or riding across the country with Cheri and his broken leg, not much could stop him from enjoying a good adventure. However, we never saw him happier than the moments he shared with his grandkids. They will never forget his big open arms waiting for his hug, scooping them up for a big bear squeeze and lots of kisses. He will always be remembered for his dedication, commitment, and love of family.
