Patricia Ann Woodard

Patricia Ann Woodard, age 85 of Westland passed away on March 17, 2025.She was born in Dearborn, Michigan on March 8, 1940 to her parents, the late Stella (née Poprawa) and Walter Bobola.

Patricia is the beloved and devoted wife of the late George Woodard; loving mother of three children; Kimberly Rawlings, Timothy Rawlings and the late Kevin Rawlings. Three step-children; Suzanne Fluharty, Darline Woodard and Debra (John) Bohnet. Proud grandmother of seven grandchildren. And; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her sister Rosie Owens.

Patricia was a devoted wife, homemaker and mother who cherished spending time with her husband, children and all of her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As her family grew with children, grand-children, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, it was clear that family was the most important part of her life - her pride and joy. She was known to always be there to provide her unconditional love, care, support, advice, and guidance for each and everyone of them.

All who knew her, also knew she truly enjoyed cooking for her family and friends. She took great pleasure in preparing and serving delicious meals. Everyone looked forward to gathering together for special occasions and a home-cooked meal prepared by Patricia.

Every year in the Spring, Patricia began a new flower garden. Her favorites were her begonias. Her work in her garden was a source of pure joy and a way to appreciate the beauty of flowers. Her flowers allowed her to design and create a beautiful outdoor space and to share these same flowers that she planted and nurtured with her family and friends.

Patricia was also very proud of her Polish heritage. She loved the incredible history and the beautiful culture and traditions. It was her Polish ancestry that gave her that strong value in her life which is her family.

She was truly a remarkable person. Our memory of Patricia will be a treasure, and she will forever live in our hearts.
