Patricia Pearl (Woods) Wilson Died peacefully on October 24, 2013 at the age of 85. Dearest wife of the late Edwin F. Wilson. Loving mother of Carol (Ed) Gehringer, Kevin (MaryBeth) Wilson, and Jill (Michael) Dean. Proud Grandmother of John Gehringer, Beth Gehringer, Cathy Gehringer. Timothy Kowaleski, Joe (Sarah) Kowaleski, Therese Kowaleski, Peter Wilson, Robert (Jennifer) Dean, Patricia (Zachary) Snyder, Brian Dean, and Sarah Dean. Adored Great-Grandmother of Elaine Kowaleski and Caleb Snyder. Sister of Virginia (Wendall) Johnson, the late George (the late Elaine) Woods, the late Marilyn (James) Jackson, and David (Charlene) Woods. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends. Patricia was a longtime resident of Plymouth and Redford Township, MI. Active in many community organizations, she served as Past-President of the following: Detroit Historical Guild, Detroit Women’s Florist Club, Redford Church Schooner Mariners, and was active at the Detroit and Plymouth Historical Museums. She was a longtime fan of the Detroit Tigers and enjoyed ushering at both the Fox Theater in Detroit and the Village Theater in Canton. Patricia will always be remembered as a cheerful and gracious lady who is beloved by her many friends and family. Visitation is 7-9 p.m., Sunday, October 27 and 2-9 p.m. Monday, October 28 at Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St., Plymouth, MI. Service will be Tuesday, October 29 at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home with interment at Riverside Cemetery, Plymouth. Memorials may be made to the Leader Dogs for the Blind in Rochester Hills.
