Patricia Mullen was born on January 1, 1943 and passed away peacefully on January 1, 2021, of natural causes. Pat grew up in Detroit and graduated from Henry Ford High School, where she played piano in the orchestra and taught private piano lessons to beginning youngsters.
Pat moved to Plymouth in 1966 to raise her young family. She enjoyed being a long time resident of Plymouth and could be found in Kellogg Park on Thursday evenings in the summer listening to the Plymouth Community Band. She was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and loved watching baseball.
Pat was an accomplished needlecrafter, knitting, crocheting, and sewing. There wasn’t a sewing challenge that she could not tackle. For several years, she made dolls to donate to Children’s Hospital. Many people were gifted with beautiful quilts handmade by Pat. She loved spending time with her daughter, traveling through the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Patricia is survived by her three children Karen (Karl) Schmidt, Dawn Mullen, Eric (Debbie) Mullen and a brother Roger (Linda) Olsen. She was a beloved grandmother of Chelsea Schmidt and Kristi (Steve) James.
A small, private family service is planned for a later date.
