Patricia Genise

Patricia Genise passed away October 4, 2013 at the age of 81. She was born October 13, 1931, in Tritanti, Italy, to Joseph and Sebastiana(Longordo)Chide. Patricia's beloved husband Eugene passed away in 2000. She is the dear mother of Vincent(Rosanne)Genise, Joseph(future daughter-in-law Kimberly Finazzo)Genise and Judith(Nick)Shank. Patricia is the loving grandmother of Benjamin Genise, Nicholas Genise, Joseph Genise, Breanna Genise, Nicholas Shank III and Gina Shank and dear aunt of Laura(Dave)Pfeiffer and Patrick McWilliams. Patricia came to the USA when she was 6 years old. She lived the past 13 years in Novi, prior to that she lived in Dearborn Heights since the mid 50's. At one time she was an aide at River Oaks Elementary School in Dearborn Heights. Patricia also taught Religious Education at St. Alphonsus Church in Dearborn. She was also a volunteer for the Felician Sisters at the Mother House in Livonia. She loved to cook, shop and travel to visit relatives. But most of all she loved spending time with her family. Funeral Services will take place Monday, October 7, 2013, 10AM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 13540 Gould St., Dearborn. Visitation will be Sunday from 2PM until 9PM at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S, Main St., Plymouth, and also Monday at church beginning at 9:30AM. There will be a Rosary recited Sunday at the funeral home at 4PM. Entombment at St. Hedwig Cemetery will follow church services.
