Noreen F. LaFontaine

Noreen F. LaFontaine passed away at Angela Hospice in Livonia on Friday, September 24, 2010 at the age of 88. She was born in Detroit, the daughter of John B. and Marie (Ryan) Coffey on July 23, 1922. A long time resident of Northville and Plymouth, she had worked as a secretary for Wayne County, retiring in 1982. Her husband of 32 years, Earl LaFontaine passed away in 1982. She is survived by her four children, Diane (Carl) Anderson, Earl (Debra) LaFontine, Amy (David) Miedel and Marie (Gino Ray) LaFontaine. Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren also survive. She will be intered with her husband at Rural Hill Cemetery in Northville. A Memorial Mass will take place on Monday, October 11, 2010 at St Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 Haggerty Road, south of Five Mile, Plymouth. Visitation will begin at 10 am.
