Nicholas W. Lasazen

Nicholas W. Lasazen, aged 94 of Plymouth, Michigan, passed away on May 18, 2015. Loving and dedicated husband of the late Yetta Lasazen. Beloved and proud father of Pamela Jean Lasazen, Karen Paige (Harvey) Davis, Cheryl Ann (Darel) Piziali and Janette Sue (Thomas) Artushin. Proud grandfather of Jessica Piziali, Nicholas Artushin, Michael Piziali, Blake Artushin, Steven (Renae) Davis, and Lori Davis. Great grandfather of T.J., Braeden, and Claire. Mr. Lasazen proudly and dedicatedly served in the United States Navy during World War II. Nicholas retired from Ford Motor Company with over 35 years of committed service. Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home located at 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, MI on Wednesday between 3:00-9:00 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church located at 47650 North Territorial, Plymouth, MI. Mr. Lasazen will lie in state beginning at 10:00am until time of funeral mass. Memorials and dedications are encouraged to be made to the St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church, 3877 Clippert, Detroit, MI, where Mr. Lasazen’s parents co-founded after immigrating to the area from Ukraine or to the charity of your choice. Interment Michigan Memorial in Flat Rock, MI.
