Nicholas W. Brennan

Nicholas W. Brennan, a beloved family man and devoted friend, passed away on May 27th, 2023 at his home in Plymouth, Michigan at the age of 38. In 2020, Nick was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, otherwise known as bile duct cancer. Nick fought a courageous 3 year battle defying the doctors expectations. When asked what kept him fighting he simply said, “family”. 

Nick was born August 6th,1984 in Port Huron, Michigan. He was the beloved son of Wayne and Cynthia Brennan (Ganhs). Nicholas is survived by his devoted wife, Amanda Brennan (Kelley) and their son, Mason. He is also survived by his sisters Missy Brennan and Amy Stablein, nephews Cody Brennan and Jacob Brennan, and in-laws Patrick and Regina Kelley. Nicholas was blessed with a loving family and supportive friends who always stood by his side. His family and numerous friends will miss him dearly, but they will never forget the impact he had on their lives.

When Nick wasn’t working he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, and spending time with family, especially Mason. He enjoyed teaching Mason how to shoot guns, ride dirt bikes, and work with his hands. Mason was Nick’s pride and joy. 

To know Nick was to truly know an amazing guy. He had a smile that was contagious, a heart of gold, and a sense of humor that made everyone laugh. His love for his family knew no bounds, and his legacy will live on through the lives of his family and friends, who will no doubt carry his spirit with them as they navigate this world.

A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, June 4th, from 1-4pm at the Plymouth VFW Post 6695, 1426 Mill St. Plymouth, MI 48170. Friends and Family are invited to gather together to share memories of Nicholas and say goodbye to this incredible man who left us way too soon.
