Nettie McIntosh assed away at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia on Monday, December 9, 2013. Nettie was born in Cowcreek, Kentucky on December 21, 1933 the daughter of Harland and Esther ( McIntosh ) Noble. She graduated from the public schools of Kentucky and in 1949 married Beech McIntosh and together they have shared a 55 year marriage. Nettie was devoted to her husband and family and in her spare time enjoyed needle point work and also knitting. She participated in fund raising drives for the March of Dimes and also for St. Jude's Children Hospital. Nettie is survived by her husband Beech and children Brenda ( Bill ) Hamblin and Edward ( Margaret ) McIntosh. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Matthew ( Kelly ) McIntosh. William Hamblin, Samatha ( Brad ) Goostree, Maryanne Cooney and Kelly ( Tricia ) Cooney; great grandchildren, Brianna, Zack, Seesha, Triston, Jack and Jackson; brother Luther ( Ethal ) Noble and sisters Edna Herald and Bertha Buckhold. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 13, 2103, from 2 pm until 7 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth where funeral services will be conducted on Saturday at 11 am with Reverend Drex Morton officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth.
