Neil J. Boyle, of Northville, passed away June 20, 2016, at the age of 72. He was born in Allen Town, Pennsylvania on September 20, 1943, to Cornelius and Irene (nee Krivy) Boyle. Neil is survived by his beloved wife Denise, his precious children Megan Boyle, Daniel Boyle, Molly (Poli) Silva, and Michael Boyle, his dear step-children Renee, Lauren, and Max Denomme, his sister Nita Boyle, and his cousins Edie (George) Efthymiou, and Irene (Glenn) Racz. Neil was preceded in death by both of his parents.
Neil was a man of many talents both personally and professionally. He was loved by so many in both aspects of his life. Neil’s early life revolved around baseball and he achieved professional AAA league status as a left-handed pitcher for the Chicago Cubs and the New York Yankees. He was inducted into Rider University Athletic Hall of Fame in June 2015. It was a moment of tremendous pride for Neil. Baseball was one of many loves of his life. Neil’s career at Maritz in Sales and Marketing was one of his greatest achievements and source of pride! Neil was loved by many personally and professionally. He created careers, promoted and saved careers. His shining achievement was receiving the Man of The Year Award and the creation of The Neil Boyle Most Valuable Ally Award. The most important things in his life were the people and those relationships. He was one of the most Memorable people.
Visitation for Neil will be Thursday, June 23, from 2-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170. His Funeral Service will be Friday, June 24, at 11am. Family and friends may begin visiting the funeral home at 10am. There will be a procession to Riverside Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Leukemia Lymphoma Society.
