Nancy W. Thomas of Plymouth, passed away July 19, 2017 at the age of 86. She was born in Johnstown, Pennsylvania to Leslie and Hazel Weigel on May 29, 1931. Nancy was the loving wife of the late James Thomas who passed in 1996. Nancy is survived by her 4 loving children Linda Thomas, Diane Thomas, Amy (Scott) Cooper, and Lisa Thomas, her 8 beloved grandchildren Leigha, Natalie, Sonia, Alesha (Bill), Neal, Nick, Katelin, and Gabrielle, and her 3 precious great-grandchildren Brooklynn, Matthew and Allison.
Nancy was a faith-filled woman who was devoted to the First United Methodist Church of Plymouth. She was more than a longtime parishioner; she sang in the choir, played the bells and played the piano. Nancy also loved to knit, sew, and crochet. She made many of her girls clothes growing up and even made wedding dresses. Nancy also enjoyed gardening and was a true animal lover. She was adored by her family and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be Friday, July 21, from 4-8pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, 48170.
Her Funeral Service will be Saturday, at 11am at the First United Methodist Church, 45201 N. Territorial, Plymouth, 48170. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Church.
