Nancy Louise Daniels, born in Detroit on November 12, 1956, died April 18, 2019 at home in Canton, Michigan, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Married to Peter Daniels for over 41 years. They met on a Boys and Girl Scout ski trip. She fell in front of him, and he fell for her - for his lifetime. Mother to James (Jimmy), and Jacob (Jake), who were the sparkles of her eyes. Sister to Henrietta (Hall) Tenaglia, Donna (Hall) Cullen, and Kathy (Hall) Fields, and brother to Harvey Hall. Preceded in death by parents Harvey Hall and Mildred (Crase) Hall, and her brother James Hall.
Nancy retired from the Plymouth Canton School system doing before and after Kids Care for elementary and middle school children. She started working at Allstate Insurance right after graduating from Redford High School, working there for over 15 years. The best job she had was being a stay at home Mom for her two children, Jimmy and Jake.
Though not affiliated formally with any church denomination, she was the most Christian, giving, loving person you could meet. Selfless, always thinking of others before herself, giving of her time energy, and love.
Nancy's life was her family. She cared for anyone who entered her home as her own. Her sons friends were her "other kids", and loved them as her own. Nancy loved to travel, seeing new sights, and learning about the people and culture of the location. Generous to a fault without reservation, she will be missed by all who knew her.
A Memorial Gathering will be Monday, April 22, 2019 from 2-7pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth, MI 48170. If you prefer in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
