Nancy Caroline Boring, age 80, of Plymouth, passed away on December 22, 2019. Ending a self-sacrificing life of unconditional loving commitment and service to her husband, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. As well as her extended family and anyone who had the opportunity to know her. Nancy was born in Latrobe, Pennsylvania on May 19, 1939. Nancy was the beloved wife of Perry Boring. Loving mother to daughters Laureen (Rolland) Buchanan and Kimberly (Ron) Baldini. Cherished grandmother to Heather Jones, Brianne Johnson, Nicole Knight, Natalie Fares, and Jacob Baldini. Great-grandma to Kaylee, Paige, Madison, William, Kennedy and Rylee. Dearest sister of Jim Mitchell. Nancy is survived by her extended family Heather, Rebecca, Heidi (Chris), Zachary, Stephanie, Caden and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her parents James H. Mitchell and Sadie (Burd) Mitchell, and her beloved son David.
Nancy had many fond memories of visiting her father’s family farm and mentioned the Mitchell Farm until her last days at home. She would share many memories of growing up with her mother’s family the Burd’s. She was a hardworking and determined woman. She had a love for baking. Her home was always impeccably clean. She was deeply loved by all her family who were there with her until the end. She loved unconditionally and was an amazing grandmother. Every person who knew Nancy knew her strength and devotion. Nancy served the Lord by her service to Calvary Baptist Church in Canton for several decades.
Family and friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St. Plymouth, MI 48170 on Saturday, December 28, from 10am-12pm until the Funeral at 12PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association or Angela Hospice.
