Muriel Mary Adams, age 100 of Northville, passed away on Sunday, July 4, 2021.
Muriel was born in Canada in the Province of Manitoba on July 25, 1920 to her parents, Percy and Lillian Newman. She is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Robert Louis; loving mother of six children – Charles (Elizabeth) Adams, Donna (Robert) Scafuri, Anita Adams, Catherine (Chris) Kolodziej, the late James Allen and the late Robert Louis, Jr.; proud grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Muriel was a longtime member of the Garden City United Baptist Church. Her life was steeped in an unending faith in God that brought guidance and direction to her everyday life. She was blessed with a wonderful life, many close friendships and a happy, healthy family. Family meant everything to Muriel. She was a loving mother to her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and was blessed to have lived to see great-great grandchildren too. She loved each and every one of them to the moon and back. Muriel was known for her kindness to others. It was fundamental to her human existence. It was her kindness to others that increased her years and happiness in life. She cherished the many friends and relationships made in her 100 years and was known as a perfect example of someone who lived a life of love and goodness.
Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, July 10, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service beginning at 12:00 P.M.
Muriel will be buried at Parkview Memorial Cemetery in Livonia, Michigan.
