Michael Jon Shannon

Michael Jon Shannon, born February 16, 1969 in Detroit, Michigan, passed away January 15, 2024 at the age of 54.  

Mike was a gifted athlete and an avid collector of music memorabilia. 

Mike was preceded in death by his father, William J. Shannon, Sr., mother, Glenrose Shannon (Trapp). Survived by his loving family: Wife, Lynn Shannon, Brother, William (Pam) Shannon of Orlando, Florida, Sister, Lori (Roger) Norris of Howell, Michigan, Brother, Dale (Tammy) Shannon of Columbia, Tennessee, Son, Alec Shannon of Naperville, Illinois, Son, Nicholas Shannon of Naperville, Illinois, Daughter, Amy Shannon, of Naperville Illinois. Mike is also survived by The Mother of his Children, Traci Shannon, of Naperville, Illinois and seven Nieces and Nephews: Travis, Danny, Casey, Kurtis, Kaleb, Mallory and Danielle. 

A Memorial Gathering to celebrate Mike’s life will be held later this year.
