Michael Cameron Dempsey

Michael Cameron Dempsey, age 33 of Plymouth, passed away suddenly on August 11, 2013. Born in Lansing, Michigan on May 26, 1980 to his loving parents John M. & Suzzanne. Beloved brother of Anna Kathryn Dempsey. Dear nephew of David (Jennifer) Dempsey, Thomas Dempsey, Shirley (Alfred) Pinto, Barbara Cunningham, Rebecca Foster, Ralph (Helen) Gordinier, and Russell Gordinier. Michael graduated from Plymouth-Canton High School in 1998 and went on to receive both a Bachelor’s Degree in 2002 and a Master’s Degree in 2003 from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor; he also obtained an MBA from Wayne State University. Michael worked as an Urban Planner for the Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, for RTI Corporation in Iraq, in the Ministry of Development for Abu Dhabi, and just recently returned from Afghanistan after serving with the U.S. Agency for International Development. A funeral service will be held at the Plymouth Church of Christ, 9301 North Sheldon Rd, Plymouth, Saturday, August 17, 2013, 11:00am with visitation beginning at 10:00am until time of service. Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St., Plymouth, Friday from 5:00pm - 8:00pm.
