Passed away at the Karmanos Cancer Center on June 5, 2013 after a brave battle against lymphoma at the age of 60. He was an inventor with a great sense of humor and was always ready to lend a hand. Michael enjoyed designing and building toys, working in the emerging field of 3D video and computer interaction. He had developed a perpetual calendar and many various types of gadgets. He was always thinking of something new. Mike was cleaver, a great handyman, enjoying taking things apart and putting them back together. Michael had resided in California for a number of years but in the late 1990's he returned to Michigan. He took great pleasure spending time with family and friends. Michael is survived by his parents Gordon and Patricia Eddy. He also leaves his brother Scott and sisters Nancy and Brook along with nephews Joshua, Erik, John, Christopher and Tommy and nieces Carmen and Noelle and dearest friend Deborah Thams. Michael was preceded in death by his sisters Janet and Caron. Funeral services will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Saturday, June 15, 2013 with visitation beginning at 2 pm and services to follow at 4 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions are suggested to the Barbara Karmanos Cancer Center ( www.karmanos.org ) or Risen Christ Lutheran Church.
