Melbourne Louis Strobel

Melbourne L. Strobel of Livonia, age 91, died September 2, 2015. Dear husband of Margaret, beloved husband of the late Cecile. Mel is survived by his 5 children, Natalie (Bruce) Hill, Laure (Bob) Closser, Stephen (Barb) Strobel, Maureen (Brian) Chesney, Mark Strobel and Becky Marion and his 3 step-children, Karin (Bryan) VanTilburg, Craig (Lisa) Flechtner, and Kevin (Amanda) Flechtner. Also survived by 14 grandchildren: Jason, Jeff, Lisa, Amanda, Rebecca, Steve, Kyle, Evan, Gavin, Nathan, Sarah, Matthew, Avery, Brady and 5 great grand-children: Tyler, Beckett, Sarah, Benjamin, and Dean. Mel was a veteran in the United States Army in World War II and worked over 30 years as a Graphic Artist for Michigan Bell Telephone.
