Maureen Roseanne Dreslinski passed away September 20, 2012 at the age of 71. Maureen was born in Detroit on January 8, 1941 to James A. and Anne J.(Kunert)Kelly. She is deeply loved and will be missed by her beloved husband Richard, her children Rosie Lemanek, Richard(Rebecca)Dreslinski and Gregory(Nicole)Dreslinski and her 4 grandchildren Kailey, Jeren, Leah and Catherine. She is the dear sister Larry(Joan)Kelly, Timothy Kelly and Brian(Gwen)Kelly. She was preceeded in death by 5 brothers, James, Cornelius, Jerome, Christopher and John. Maureen retired from teaching 10 years ago. She taught kindergarten and 1st grade in both public and parochial schools. Having worked last at All Saints Catholic School in Canton. She was a member of St. Colette Catholic Church in Livonia and also a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Maureen enjoyed shopping, doing puzzels and was the curator of many items, but she mostly loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Funeral Services will take place Monday, September 24, 2012, 11:30 AM at St. Colette Catholic Church, 17600 Newburgh Rd., Livonia. Friends may visit Sunday 2-9PM at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth and at church Monday beginning at 11AM. There will be a Rosary/Vigil Service Sunday 7PM under auspices of K of C 5492 Dr. Thomas Dooley Council and St. Colette Church. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield. Memorials may be made to Right to Life-LIFESPAN or Masses.
