Mary Catherine LaLonde

Mary Catherine LaLonde, age 96 of Northville passed away on June 2, 2024.

Mary was born in Shingleton, Michigan on May 4, 1928 to her parents, the late Catherine (née Rothe) and Paul E. Gehrke.

She is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Harold J. LaLonde; loving mother of Candice (Mike) Catanzarite and Dawn (Joseph) Beauregard; proud grandmother of Melissa (Ian) LaMay, Mathew (Julie) Catanzarite, Joseph Beauregard, Michael (Kim) Beauregard, Mark Beauregard and great-grandmother of Zachary LaMay, Violet LaMay, Leo Catanzarite, and Mila Beauregard.  She is preceded in death by her grandson Michael Catanzarite.

She was the last of her three siblings to pass away. 

Mary was an avid golfer and played for 50 years.  She loved the exercise of it, the fresh air and sunshine as well as the challenges provided at each golf course.  Each swing at the ball provided a reaction to a great shot or a not-so-great shot.  But at the end of the day, it was all about the fun of being with friends who enjoyed the game as much as she did and embracing the beauty of the outdoors.
