Mary L. Crago

Mountain House, California resident of 4 years, Mary L. Crago, 86, passed away Sunday, February 15, 2015 at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital in Tracy, California surrounded by family. A native of Oblong, Illinois, Mrs. Crago worked for Longs Drug Carpentry Shop as Office Manager for 10 years, California Franchise Tax Board for 3 years and as a Bank Teller for various banks for 10 years. She was a parishioner of First United Methodist Church of Plymouth, Michigan for 12 years, and a member of United Methodist Women’s Group. She enjoyed traveling, cooking, reading, gardening, wine tasting, and good conversation. She was a good spirited person who was always very happy. She loved time spent with her family and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by children: Donna Moore (Richard) of Plymouth, Michigan, Richard Crago of Mountain House, California, David Crago (P. Ann Smith-Crago) of Livermore, California; 9 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a brother, Donald Stratton (Shirley) of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She was preceded in death by her husband, John William Crago, Jr. (married 58 years, passed 2005), parents, George and Alma Stratton and brother, Harold Stratton. Friends may visit Saturday, February 28th 10am until the time of the Funeral service that will begin at 11am at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Burial will take place at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, Livonia.
