Passed away at the Evangelical Home in Saline on Monday, November 24, 2014 at the age of 81. Mary Jo was born in Wyandotte, Michigan the daughter of John and Mary Magdaline ( nee Fury ) Foulder. She attended the schools of St. Patrick's through high school. For a short time before her marriage she was a flight attendant with United Airlines and then after her children had grown she worked for over 25 years with the Observer Newspapers, retiring in 1996. She married Raymond LaBeau in 1956 and they shared a marriage of 40 years when Ray passed away in 1996. The family resided in the Plymouth area from 1965 until Ray's passing when she moved to Hillman, Michigan. Mary Jo had many interests with playing golf being at the top of the list. She was an ardent fan of Michigan Football and she loved cars, especially her Camaros. She was a great booster for the Plymouth-Canton Marching Band which her children were involved in and she loved to shop on the QVC channel. Her family was foremost and she is survived by her children Raymond Joseph LaBeau, Michael LaBeau and his partner Keith Turczyn and Susan and Daniel Lough. Four grandchildren, Jacqueline, Rebecca, Stephanie and Samantha Jo and sister Jo Ann Beadling also survive. She was preceded in death by her eldest son Christopher and sister Patricia Cooney. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2014 from 2 pm until the time of the Memorial Service at 4 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth.
