Mary Jane Lambert

Mary Jane Lambert, age 91 of Canton, passed away on June 21, 2022. 

She was preceded in death by her husband William, her parents Antonio and Augusta DiMauro, and her sister Lillian DiMauro. 

She is survived by her brother Joseph DiMauro, her children Karen (Todd) Palgut, Lisa (Randy Motyka) Lambert, Carl Lambert, her grandchildren John (Jesyka Palmer) Palgut, Alan Palgut, Rachel (Brian) Benson, Ryan (Kendal Oleski) Motyka, and her great-grandson Charlie. 

In 1928, Mary Jane’s parents immigrated from Italy to Cleveland, Ohio. Mary Jane was born in 1930, the first of three children. 

Mary Jane and Bill married in 1955. In 1965, Mary Jane and her family moved to Plymouth, Michigan, where she lived most of her life. 

Mary Jane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved being with and helping children. She spent many years working as a teacher’s aid at Central Middle school. 

Friends may gather at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth on Saturday, August 6, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at 10:00 A.M.
