Mary Jane Burd

Mary Jane Burd passed away March 7, 2011 at the age of 82. She was born May 14, 1928 in Plymouth to Earl and Fern Moore. Mary Jane is the beloved mother of Mark(Sandra)Burd and Allan(Mary)Burd. Dear grandmother of 3. Also survived by great grandchildren and her brother Donald(Annejean)Moore. Mary Jane was a resident of Plymouth until she married April 22, 1948. She then moved to Garden City where she lived for the rest of her life. She retired from the Garden City Hospital where she was the linen room supervisor. Mary Jane loved to read and knit. She used to knit lap blankets and socks for nursing home residents.

Funeral Services will take place Thursday, March 10, 2011, at 11am at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main St., Plymouth. Friends may visit Tuesday 5-8pm and Wednesday 2-8pm.
