Marvin E. Hopper of Canton passed away on March 18, 2015 at the age of 76. He was born in Plymouth to Roy and Corda Hopper (Rook). Marvin was the beloved husband of the late Judy (Day) Hopper and loving father of John (Dee) Hopper, Julie (David) Vaughn, Jeannette (Chuck) Morris, and James (Linda) Jimmerson; a very proud Grandfather of Alan Hopper, Aaron Hopper, Evan Geier, Corey Geier, Travis (Brittany) Dutton, Elise (Sean Michael) Brady; Great-Grandfather of Jace, Reece, Cade Dutton and Hudson Brady; dearest brother of Melvin Hopper and Myron Hopper. Marvin began his longtime career at the 20th Century Barber Shop in Northville. In 1980, he began working for his brother at Myron’s Barber Shop. In 1995 to the present, he was working at McMullen’s Barber Shop in downtown Plymouth. He and his brother Myron worked together until recently. Friends may visit Sunday, March 22nd 3pm to 9pm and Monday, March 23rd 3pm to 9pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 24th at 11am at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth. Burial will take place on Tuesday, March 24th at Riverside Cemetery in Plymouth. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marvin E.
