Marlene Lorraine Still peacefully passed away at her home on April 1, 2019 at the age of 86. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, Harold Still; loving mother of Brian Still, Brenda (Glenn) Siwula, Judy (Ed) Still-Bray and the late Brad Still, and Carolyn (Joe) Still-Love; devoted grandmother of Brandon (Mallory) Still, Lauren (Tyler) Pedersen, Alexandria Still, Danielle Siwula, Sydney Still, Natalie Siwula and Audrey Love. Loving sister to Larry (Barb) Lindbert and Hal Lindbert.
Marlene was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on November 19, 1932 and moved to Southfield, Michigan shortly after. She met her husband-to-be in grade school and they were married in 1950. Afterwards, they moved to California while Harry was enlisting in the Marines. As their family grew, they moved back to Michigan. Over the years, she was blessed and proud to have witnessed the growth of her loving family. Marlene loved to spend time with family and friends, especially to acknowledge special days such as birthdays, holidays, and family gatherings. Her strong, simple personality made her the unique and wonderful lady that she was. She is deeply loved and will be missed by many.
Her Funeral Mass will be Saturday, April 6, 2019, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 133 Orchard Dr., Northville, 48167. Family and friends may begin visiting the Church at 9:30am. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Marlene’s name to the American Lung Association, 1475 East 12 Mile Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
