Mark William Scofield, age 58, of Romulus, died August 15th following a valiant struggle with cancer. Born October 23, 1954 to Ernest W. & Betty A. Scofield, Mark was an Eagle Scout and member of the Order of the Arrow with vigil honors, the national honor society of the Boy Scouts of America. He was a Certified Executive Chef and prepared food at the Birmingham Community House Farmington Hill Golf Club and many other venues. He also taught in the Culinary Arts Department of Henry Ford Community College where he shared his talent and love for cooking. For many years, Mark served as a judge for the annual Plymouth Ice Festival in Plymouth. Mark is survived by his beloved wife Cynthia and his sons, Mark William (Elizabeth)Lewis-Scofield, and Masen Scofield. Also surviving are his precious grandchildren, Skyler and Andrew Scofield, his mother, Betty Scofield, his brother, Michael L. "Sco" Scofield and his beloved cat Roxy. Friends may visit at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth, MI, Monday from 3 until 8 pm. There will be an Order of the Arrow Service on Monday (time to be determined). Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 o'clock at Newburg United Methodist Church, 36500 Ann Arbor Trail, Livonia, MI. Friends may visit at the church beginning at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Parkview Memorial Cemetery,Livonia, MI.
