Mark R. Pierzecki

Mark R. Pierzecki, age 48 of Canton, Michigan passed away on July 5, 2023.

He was born on May 14, 1975 in Detroit, Michigan. 

Mark is the beloved and devoted husband of Francesca (née Miruzzi) Pierzecki; loving father of Gabriella, Valerie and Adrianna.  He is also survived by his parents Peter and Hedwig (née Krysik) Pierzecki and his mother-in-law Judy (the late Manny) Miruzzi.  

He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his siblings Paul (Beth) Pierzecki, Sue (Scott) Woodley and Stephanie (Andrew) Olsen and his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Anne Marie (Larry Mills) Miruzzi, Angie (John) Cooney, Chris (Rick) Schulkey and Liz (Bill) Ross. 

He also was loved by many nieces and nephews – Greg, Tom, Angelina,  (the late) Anthony, Michael, Vinny, Kathryn, Korynna, Vivian, Andrew, Brandon, and Collette. 

Mark will also be deeply missed by his many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends as well as his fluffy companion  “Molly”.

Mark was well known to be an enthusiastic football and baseball fan.  He loved the Detroit Tigers and especially the Michigan Wolverines.  He also was a loyal fan of NASCAR and Formula 1 racing.    Mark was dedicated in his profession and he understood and appreciated hard work.  Mark earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and his Master’s degree from Wayne State University.   Mark will be best remembered for his infectious laugh, storytelling, generous heart and always willing to give a helpful hand to anyone in need. 

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Monday, July 10, 2023 from 2:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.   

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Kenneth Catholic Church, 14951 North Haggerty Road, Plymouth, Michigan on Tuesday, July 11, 2023 beginning at 11:30 A.M.  Visitation will also be on Tuesday at the Church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 11:30 A.M.
