Mario Succurro

Mario Succurro passed away at home on June 15, 2014 at the age of 67. He was born December 8, 1946 in San Giovanni In Fiore, Italy. He moved to the United States in the late 1960s with his wife Giovanna (Marra) to start their new life. They were married for 48 years and blessed with four children. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Giovanna and their four loving children, Pasqualino (Yvette) Succurro, Filomena (Frank) Sgambati, Salvatore Succurro and Angela Succurro. He was the proud grandfather of Giovanna, Angelica, Julianna, Mario, Giovanni and Viviana. Mario loved mushroom hunting, fishing, gardening and especially spending time with his family. He was the dear brother of Caterina Lavigna, Salvatore (Zoraida) Succurro, Giovanni (Rosa) Succurro, Antonio (Maria) Succurro, Carlo Succurro, and Piero Succurro. He was preceded in death by his brother Francesco Succurro, sister-in-law, Caterina Succurro and brother-in-law Saverio Lavigna. A private Memorial Mass will be held at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Plymouth. Interment at St. Hedwig Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home in Plymouth, Michigan.
