Marilyn Boland, age 60, of Plymouth passed away on January 1, 2019, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Lansing, Michigan on December 4, 1958. Marilyn married her beloved husband of 34 years, Kevin Boland on September 8, 1984. They made their home in Plymouth and Traverse City. Marilyn is survived by her parents Wayne and Judy{Merrill} Clinton, sister Cindy Clinton (Doug Wise}, Aunt Suzi{Wilson} Bush {Tom}, and a large cast of loving in-laws and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother Joan {Wilson} Clinton.
Marilyn graduated with valedictorian honors from Williamston High School. Following graduation, she was a member of Oakland University’s inaugural class of Physical Therapists. Marilyn had a long and extensive career in physical therapy and finished her duration at HCR Manor Care in Livonia.
Marilyn’s compassionate and caring nature will be greatly missed by her family, her friends and all who knew and loved her. A Memorial Gathering will be Saturday, January 5, from 3-6pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main St., Plymouth, 48170. A Memorial Service will immediately follow beginning at 6pm. Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Marilyn Boland to Angela Hospice and the Pancreatic Cancer Network.
