Marian B. Mathews

Marian passed away at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia on February 15, 2011 at the age of 82. She was born in Euphrasia Township, Ontario, Canada on July 24, 1928 the daughter of Ivan and Anna (Curry) Cook. She had performed bookkeeping work for Wayne Motors and other clients. She was married to Lynn S. Mathews for 57 years and together they shared their love and joy in their son William. Traveling with her husband Lynn, both by air, Lynn worked for British Airways, and in their motor home was a great joy and they traveled near and far. Marian also enjoyed gardening, bird watching and snow skiing. Marian and Lynn were members of Mariner's Church in downtown Detroit where a Memorial Service will be held at a later date. She is survived by her husband Lynn, son William ( Barbara ) Mathews and a sister Fay Bugai. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Friday from 3pm until 8pm.
