Margaret Szopa

Margaret Szopa, age 97 of Canton passed away on January 12, 2024.

She was born in Detroit, Michigan on February 7, 1926 to her parents, the late Mary (née Sabatino) and Carmine Tartaglia.

Margaret is the beloved and devoted wife of the late Eugne Szopa; loving mother of three children, Eugene Szopa, Jr., Denise (William) Balow and Debra Szopa and proud grandmother of five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, Michigan on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. to be officiated by the Reverend Msgr. Todd Lajiness.

Margaret will be laid to rest at St. Hedwig Cemetery in Dearborn Heights.
