Margaret Elliott Dietrich

Margaret Elliott Dietrich passed away at Angela Hospice in Livonia, with her family at her side, Monday, December 9, 2013 at the age of 92. Margaret was born in Detroit, the daughter of Hugh and Hilda ( Surinck ) Davidson. She worked for Consumers Power as a dispatcher. In 1982 she lost her first husband Alfred Elliott. Later she married Miles Dietrich who also preceded her in death. She is survived by her son Roger Elliott and his wife Nancy. Also surviving are her grandchildren Joseph Elliott and Matthew ( Jillian ) Elliott, and great grandchildren Andrew Elliott, Lillian Elliott, Jacob Elliott and Francis ( Sophia ) Elliott. Also surviving are her cousins Lois , Bruce, Dawn, Gary, Marilyn and Marylou. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013, from 1 pm until 6 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 S. Main Street, Plymouth. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 9:30 am until time of the Funeral Mass, 10 am at St. Damian Catholic Church, 30055 Joy Road, Westland. She will be laid to rest beside her first husband at Pinckney Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made as Mass Offerings in her name.
