Margaret Ellen Blaney

Passed away at Medilodge of Plymouth on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at the age of 95. " Peggy ", as she was fondly called, was born in Alpena, Michigan on November 21, 1917 the daughter of Alfred and Anna ( Hines ) Blaney. For over 40 years she work for Ford Motor as a secretary in the public relations department, retiring in 1983. For a great portionof her life, Peggy resided in Farmington and was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. She was involved with prayer groups and the Right to Life organization. Her course throughout her life was to " help others. " Peggy is survived by her daughter Ann Marie ( Anthony ) Blaney Ruda and her grandchildren Amy ( Andy ) Cashin and Adam ( April ) Komiensky. She was a beloved aunt to Beth and Art Stancher, Jim & Cheryl O'Brien, Matt and Maria O'Brien, Greg O'Brien, Kathy and James McFarland, Josie and Pero Teodosijeva, Bernie and Michelle McCormick, O'Brien, Eileen O'Brien, Nora and Tom Johnson, Maureen and Joe Lovill and the late Molly O'Brien. Visitation will be held on Monday, September 9, 2013 from 3 pm until 9 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth, a Scripture Service will be held at 7 pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10 am until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road ( at Beck Road ) Plymouth. Contributions of the chairty of your choice is suggested.
