Margaret Elizabeth Smith

Passed away at home with her family beside her on Friday, May 31, 2013 at the age of 85. Margaret was born in Detroit the daughter of Leo M. and Anna Mae ( Sayen ) Cavinaw. For a good portion of her life the family resided in the Berkley area and after her husband's retirement they moved to Florida where she resided for almost twenty years. Margaret loved to read, travel, go bowling and enjoyed shopping immensely with her " sister trips." Margaret's husband Robert passed away in 1995. She is survived by her children Roberta ( Al ) Walker, Michael ( Susan ) Smith, Paula Smith and Susan ( Rick ) Nulty. Seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren along with brothers Martin and Dennis ( Susan ) Cavinaw, sister Kathleen Arbini and brother-in-law Donald Cutaiar also survive. Visitation will be held at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth on Monday, June 3rd from 3pm until 9pm. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10am until the time of the funeral mass at 10:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road ( at Beck Road ) Plymouth.
