Marcus Wayne Newsom, Jr., age 85 of Belleville passed away on June 6, 2017. He was born in Tennessee on August 18, 1931 to his parents, Marcus and Mary Newsom.
Marcus is the beloved husband of the late Osa Ann Newsom; devoted father of Greg Newsom, Rick Newsom, Cathy (Allan) Fisher, Jeffrey (Sally) Newsom, Bobby (Rachel) Johnson, Donna (Steve) Richard, Danny (Janet) Johnson and the late Jeffrey Johnson. He is the proud grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; dearest brother of Max Newsom, Elsa Johnston, Sue Newsom, Tammy Wetzel and Jerry Newsom.
The family invites you to join with them in celebrating Marcus’ life on Thursday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. for a graveside service at Parkview Memorial Cemetery, 34205 Five Mile Road, Livonia.
Marcus is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all whose life he has touched.
