Lucille “Lucy” McIntosh-Davis, age 69 of Canton passed away on March 4, 2020.
Lucy was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma to her parents, Marion and Callie Young. She is the beloved and devoted wife to Dennis Davis for the past 27 years. Loving mother of Marianne Cooney, Kelly (Tricia) Cooney and Matthew (Kelly) McIntosh; proud grandmother of Seasha (Jeff) Cooney-Wilder, Brianna Cooney, Zachary (Kelly) Cooney, Jack McIntosh, Jenna McIntosh, Rachel (fiancé, Jeff Edney) Davis and Jenna Davis; great-grandmother of Mia.
As a wife, a mother and a business owner, Lucy was a high-spirited and an extremely high-energy woman. Anyone who knew Lucy also knew she was one of the most hard-working people on earth. She was very independent and worked tirelessly - but always full of love for the people closest to her. Her two greatest passions in life were for her family and continuing to be a hard worker as the owner of the “Touch of Class Beauty Salon” of Plymouth for 42 years. The first location was on Union Street. As her business continued to grow, it was necessary to make a move to a new location at the Meeting House and then to the final location on Wing Street.
Lucy was an exceptional wife and mother. She cared deeply for her family. She loved her work and couldn’t imagine retirement. Her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild, friends and anyone whose life was touched by Lucy all came to know what love, kindness and perseverance truly looks like.
