Lorraine M. Schmitt

Lorraine Schmitt passed away at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia on October 19, 2012 at the age of 81. Lorraine was born in South Lyon, Michigan on March 5, 1931 the daughter of John and Martha ( Zella ) Pulaskey. Lorraine worked for Michigan Bell, later A.T. & T. for 45 years in 1996. She had worked as a computer operator and later in management both in Plymouth and for a few years in downtown Detroit. She was a life long member of Our Lady of Good Counsel parish, a member of the Ladies of Isabella, the Over 50's Club and an Elk. Her husband Adolph and son Bud preceded her in death and she is survived by her other son, John ( Shannon ) Schmitt. Two grandchildren Jack Jr. and Brandy ( Robert ) Bartel and great granddaughter Chloe Bartel also survive. Visitation will be held on Monday from 2 pm until 9 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 10 am until time of the Funeral Mass at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church, 47650 North Territorial Road ( at Beck ) Plymouth.
