Lisa Marie Steffes, age 43 of Pinckney, Michigan passed away on October 3, 2021.
She was born on December 9, 1977 in Warren, Michigan to her parents, Bradley and the late Marianne Bee (née Tomazczyk). She is the beloved and devoted wife of David M. Steffes. Their two beagles, “Laila” and “Jack” and her two cats, “Maggs” and “Simba” will miss their special bond, companionship and love for them. She is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by her brother, Christopher Bee, sister-in-law, Krista (Garrett) Graham, and niece and nephew, Avery Graham and Gage Graham.
She had been residing in Pinckney for the past nine years. Previously, she lived in Canton, Michigan.
Lisa started employment with St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti as a Receptionist. She was attending Wayne State when she earned her Bachelor’s Degree and later, began her new employment at Michigan Medicine in Ann Arbor within the Accounting Department.
Both Lisa and David love to travel. They chose to honeymoon in the Caribbean on the beautiful island of Jamaica in December 2009.
She is a dedicated and enthusiastic Detroit Tigers baseball fan. She and David frequented many games together. Because of their love of baseball and travel, it’s no surprise to learn they have visited 15 of the 30 Major League Baseball stadiums across the country.
Lisa is a member of Wicked Jeeps Southeast Michigan. Lisa loved four wheeling – especially being in touch with nature while blasting through the woods and exploring the unknown. She would ride feeling the wind on her face and enjoying the beautiful landscapes that otherwise would have remained unseen from the main road. She enjoyed each adventure, and it was her experiences that equipped her to skillfully maintain control of her vehicle on a rugged trail. The best part is the many friends they have made over the years who also enjoy getting together for a great time of four wheeling on a beautiful day.
Lisa had a natural affection for animals. She has two dogs and two cats, and they knew how much Lisa loved and cared for them. They returned that love to Lisa in countless ways by responding with all of their love and affection for her.
