Lino Vincent Lopez Jr., the beloved life partner of Todd Patrick Kananen, sadly passed away January 1, 2014 at the age of 50. Born September 20, 1963 to parents Yolanda and Lino Lopez, Lino was lovingly known as “Vince” to his close friends, and to the many people he touched throughout his long and very successful restaurant management career. Many knew him as the General Manager of Mitchell's Fish Market in Livonia, where he spend long hours making sure all of Mitchell’s customers were happy and well-taken care of. His passion for professional service, high-quality hospitality, and staff management was unsurpassed. Just before his passing, Vince received a promotion to District Manager at Mitchell's Fish Market. Although Vince worked long, hard hours, he made time to be a wonderful son to Yolanda, brother, and “Uncle Lino” to several nieces, nephews, brothers, and sisters. He made his friends laugh often, and love him greatly for his kind, generous heart and celebration-of-life spirit. He loved to travel to the Southwest with his life partner Todd, and created many great memories in Las Vegas, NV, Santa Fe, NM, Chicago and California. He will be greatly missed by all of us. Vince was preceded in death by his father Lino Lopez Sr. and his brother Roberto Lopez. In addition to Todd, he is survived by his mother Yolanda B. Lopez, sisters Ann Lopez, Viola (Heriberto) Sauceda and Linda Chavez, brothers Edwardo (Gloria) Lopez and Ramondo (Melanie) Lopez, 17 nephews, 43 great nephews and nieces, and 5 great great nephews and nieces.
