Lillian Anderson

Passed away at Waltonwood of Canton on Thursday, April 2, 2015 at the age of 83. Lillian was born in Coverdale, Pennsylvania on April 12, 1931 the daughter of Tomas and Katie ( Mikoni ) Majcuk. Her early years were spent in Coverdale where she attended school through the seventh grade. Her family relocated to Detroit where she finished her schooling, graduating from Pershing High School in 1949. After graduation she went to work for General Motors, mainly at the Tech Center, where she ended her career in 1979 as an executive secretary. In 1974, she married Alfred Anderson who preceded her in death in 2000. Lillian enjoyed many activities including playing tennis and country line dancing. She enjoyed her membership in the Red Hat Society, shopping and blowing bubbles for her nieces and nephews. She is survived by her sister Ann Tonkovich and brother John Matsock, nieces and nephews Cheryl, John, Johanna, Janice, Mark and many great nieces and nephews and their families. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3 pm until 8 pm at the Schrader-Howell Funeral Home, 280 South Main Street, Plymouth. Visitation will continue on Monday from 10 am until time of the funeral mass at 10:30 am at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 44800 West Warren, Canton.
